With the Ecoport fuel cell, SFC Energy AG is expanding its portfolio to include a high-performance reformer fuel cell for the power range of 0.3 to 1.1 kW. The Ecoport is based on patented high-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cell technology with integrated methanol reforming and provides a reliable, off-grid power supply for backup and off-grid applications. Thanks to its operation using liquid methanol, users benefit from simpler fuel logistics, long operating times and high energy density. The technology has been designed for quiet operation, low maintenance requirements and the reduction of local emissions, and is ideally suited to critical infrastructure, telecommunications, transport technology and construction sites. Thanks to its flexible integration into hybrid energy systems featuring batteries and photovoltaics, the Ecoport Cabinet offers an efficient and future-proof energy supply for demanding applications.
With a peak output of up to 1,100 W and 600–1,000 W in continuous operation, the Ecoport 1500 is the ideal power supply for demanding backup and off-grid applications. The patented methanol fuel cell technology ensures reliable, fully automatic battery charging and enables long periods of off-grid operation. Thanks to its quiet, low-maintenance operation and easy integration into hybrid energy systems, the Ecoport 1500 is ideally suited to critical infrastructure, telecommunications and industrial applications.
EFOY fuel cartridges supply high-purity methanol for the reliable operation of EFOY Fuel Cells. A range of fuel cartridge sizes allows the energy supply to be tailored to specific requirements for both stationary and mobile applications.

EFOY Fuel Cells provide a reliable, off-grid power supply for stationary and mobile applications – fully automatically for weeks and months without any user intervention. The range includes direct methanol fuel cells from EFOY and EFOY Pro up to 125 W, as well as the Ecoport 1500 with HT-PEM technology for power outputs up to 1.1 kW.
