We use an EFOY Pro 800 Duo fuel cell (corresponds to latest fuel cell generation EFOY Pro 900) for the electrical supply of a water meter at a drinking water source. The fuel cell is integrated as a complete solution in an EFOY ProCabinet 2060A. The customisable EFOY ProCabinet also offers enough space to accommodate our own measurement equipment.
Solar cells are often used to power our meters. Due to the location of the drinking water source in the forest, solar cells were not an option in this case. We were faced with the challenge of finding a power supply solution that could be used in water conservation areas and provide us with self-sufficient, off-grid power. In addition, our measuring instruments needed to be protected against vandalism.
We were looking for an off-grid energy solution with a long self-sufficiency period and as little maintenance as possible. Due to its size, the ProCabinet offers the possibility of accommodating all components required on site in a single control cabinet. In addition, the EFOY fuel cell does not require any maintenance.
The EFOY Pro 900, the latest fuel cell generation, is the ideal power supply solution for this application.

The EFOY Pro 800 Duo (corresponds to latest fuel cell generation EFOY Pro 900) is integrated into a cabinet with two lead batteries and two M28 fuel cartridges. This constellation is sufficient for several months of autonomous operation.
At this location, an EFOY Pro serves as an energy source. Solar modules cannot be used here.
