We have an annual PM to replace the methanol jugs in the 3 EFOY units we have in service. Having never done this before I was curious about the steps involved to remove an empty methanol container and install a full one in its place.
It was a real delight then to find that each jug has its own pick-up and vent lines connected to a very well-sealed stopper and that the empty jug was truly empty. There was no residual methanol in the jug, the stopper, or the cap. Engineering excellence responsible for this process and the associated components has ensured that they disconnect and reconnect process is simple, quick, and safe.
