If your fuel cell is already permanently connected to a stationary router, you do not need to do anything else. Firmware updates will then be applied fully automatically.
If your installation does not have a permanent connection to a router connect your fuel cell via LAN cable to a router. As soon as an Internet connection is established, the system checks whether an update is available for your fuel cell. The update will then be stored in the EFOY and connected accessories, such as the control panel or Fuel Manager, will be updated at the same time.
Note: Before updating, please deactivate the EFOY Fuel Cell’s transport mode via the control panel or the EFOY app. During the update process, make sure that the EFOY Fuel Cell is connected to the battery and that there is an Internet connection.
First power the mobile router and make sure that the router is connected to an available WLAN network and configured. A router recommendation including configuration instructions can be found below.
After configuring your mobile router, connect it to the fuel cell via LAN cable.
As soon as a connection is established it will automatically check if an update is available for your fuel cell.
If a new update is available, the update will automatically be stored in the EFOY Fuel Cell and connected accessories such as the control panel or the fuel cartridge manager will be updated.

If you do not have an internet connection on your device, the EFOY Fuel Cell can be updated to the latest version via the serial interface. To do this, you need a Windows PC with at least Windows 10 64-bit on which you can install the software. Additional hardware is also required for communication via the serial interface (please refer to the instructions for the exact components).
